The science of Ayurveda and Yoga share common origins and are highly complimentary in terms of health and well-being as well as spiritual evolution. In this training, you will learn the foundational principles of Ayurveda and how to apply them to your life and yoga practice.
Ayurveda is one of the oldest medical systems in the world. In this training you will discover how to create sustainable daily practices to support balance and overall well-being from an Ayurvedic perspective.
*This training does not qualify students to treat or diagnose. The intention with this course is for students to broaden their study, practice and integration of the teachings of Ayurveda and Yoga for their own personal pratice and teaching.

Tridoshas and the 5 great elements, Gunas and subtle essences

Yoga, pranayama and meditation techniques for each dosha

Lifestyle, nutrition and dinacharya: how to create a daily routine

How to cultivate life force (prana), vitality (Ojas), and build digestive fire (agni) for optimal health

How to implement the principles of Ayurveda into your yoga practice and lifestyle to enhance well-being
Living in Alignment
Ayurveda is the study of our health in relation to the elements and the natural cycles of the earth, seasons, and moon cycles. Inner harmony and alignment with these natural principles is created through balancing these cyclic rhythms. This creates the foundation for a vibrant life.
This training will inspire you with self-inquiry practices, recipes, remedies and rituals to fully embody the wisdom of Ayurveda and experience your body and mind in alignment with nature.
Training Overview
Ayurveda is a live online training. Each module is a mix of lecture and experiential practices. All live sessions are recorded and will be available here on our course platform to watch again at your own pace, as well as the resource library of practice videos, meditations and learning materials to view at any time.

This training is open to all interested students and aspiring teachers. Ayurveda may be taken as a stand alone training. Ayurveda is also Module 5 of our 300 Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training. Find more information on our 300 Hour YTT here.
